P-16 Partnerships - Local Community Teams are first and foremost a vehicle for the participating member institutions of the Urban Serving Universities (USU) to better recruit, prepare and retain quality teachers for high need urban centers.

Community Plans - Conceived as a means to support local K-16 partnership efforts for the improvement of urban teacher recruitment, preparation, induction, and retention.
