Leadership

The leadership structure of the Urban Educator Corps is comprised of the following key elements:

The presidents, provosts and chancellors of the Urban Serving Universities, who provide overall direction to the Urban Educator Corps and other initiatives of the USU consortium.
The Urban Educator Corps Steering Committee which sets specific programmatic priorities for UEC activity, allocates resources, assesses progress, and reports to the USU presidents, provosts and chancellors, and provides support.
The Urban Educator Corps Technology Leaders, comprised of education technology experts in each of the UEC member colleges and schools of education.
Urban Educator Corps Team Documenters, individuals responsible for providing information to the steering committee to facilitate decision making and sharing best practices across the Urban Educator Corps.

Steering Committee - Provides leadership for the initiative.

Team Leaders - Are liaisons to the Urban Educator Corps and leaders at the local level within their respective institutions and the communities they serve.

Tech Leaders  - Are liaisons to the Urban Educator Corps and resource persons at the local level within their respective Community Partnership Teams.

Documenters - Responsible for reporting the challenges and successes with regard to their respective Community Plans.
