Initiatives Research

The Urban Educator Corps is a partnership of research institutions. As such, the collaboration that is possible across the sites adds value to the research efforts.

An RFP was distributed in the fall of 2001 seeking proposals for research questions with the potential to improve America's urban public schools and that could be taken to national scale. The basic philosophy was to provide a series of seed grants that could be leveraged by PIs for more ambitious UEC research studies.

Each proposal provides an executive summary, need for the study, literature review, research design, budget, budget narrative, evaluation plan, dissemination plan, and timeline.
