Belief Statement #1 - Faculty in the School of Education believe we must create a learning community in which stakeholders collaborate to improve programs.

Belief Statement #2 - Faculty in the School of Education believe programs must guide learners through a developmental process extending across pre-service and in-service contexts.

Faculty Belief Statement #3 - Faculty in the School of Education believe programs must promote and value diversity within the faculty, candidates, and curricula.

Faculty Belief Statement #4 - Faculty in the School of Education believe that programs must be designed so that professional education candidates continually evaluate and improve their practice through critical self-reflection and inquiry.

Belief statement #5 - Faculty in the School of Education believe that programs should provide professional education candidates with instruction consistent with sound theory and research about learning. 

Faculty Belief Statement #6  - Faculty in the School of Education believe in the importance of preparing professional education candidates through supervised practice within school and community settings.

Faculty Belief Statement #7 - Faculty in the School of Education believe that programs have explicit outcomes for candidates based on professional standards.

Faculty Belief Statement #8 - Faculty in the School of Education believe assessment should be multidimensional, developmental, outcomes-oriented, and should guide program improvement.
