School Psychometry Advising Appointments

Dr. Stephanie Corcoran is the advisor for the School Psychometry Program.

 

Before you begin your coursework, you need to schedule an initial meeting with Dr. Corcoran.  During this time, your transcripts will be evaluated and a program of study (term-by-term analysis of courses) will be completed.   Prior to this meeting, you need to collect the following documents to bring to this initial meeting:

 

(1)  Unofficial transcripts (Note:  You will need to have an official copy of all of your transcripts send to your advisor during the first term of your enrollment).

 

(2)  Copy of all teaching certificates  (Note:  Bring both "A" and "B" level certificates).

 

(3)  Documentation of two years of educational experience.  This can be accomplished by submitting a letter from your current supervisor documenting your experience OR by providing a copy of your tenure contract.

 

(4)  Documentation of Criminal Background Check Clearance.  If you are currently teaching, we can verify this through an online database.  Otherwise, you will need to bring a clearance letter for your advisor.
 

(5)  Current TB Skin Test results (Note:  These test results must be current throughout the time you are taking School Psychometry coursework).
