ARRA Federal Tuition Assistance

The UAB School of Education is pleased to announce the following ARRA federal tuition assistance opportunities.  Please click on the links below for further details and application information:

 

AARA Undergraduate, Beginning Degree Seeking Student Tuition Assistance

Open to students beginning a program as a newly admitted degree-seeking student in the spring semester, 2010.  You may be eligible for tuition assistance as a result of funds coming to the School of Education from the ARRA Federal Stimulus.   Full tuition is available for one course (excluding fees and other charges) and one-half tuition (excluding fees and other charges) for four additional courses.

 

AARA Graduate, Beginning Degree Seeking Student Tuition Assistance

Open to students beginning a program as a newly admitted degree-seeking student in the spring semester, 2010.  You may be eligible for tuition assistance as a result of funds coming to the School of Education from the ARRA Federal Stimulus.  Full tuition  is available for one course (excluding fees and other charges) and one-half tuition (excluding fees and other charges) for four additional courses.

 

ARRA Reading Specialist Certificate Student Tuition Assistance

Open to students beginning the Reading Specialist Certificate program as a newly accepted student in the spring semester, 2010. You may be eligible for tuition assistance as a result of funds coming to the School of Education from the ARRA Federal Stimulus.  Full tuition  is available for one course (excluding fees and other charges) and one-half tuition (excluding fees and other charges) for four additional courses.

 

ARRA School Psychometry Program Newly Accepted Student Tuition Assistance

Open to students who will be beginning the School Psychometry program as a newly accepted student in the spring semester, 2010.  You may be eligible for tuition assistance as a result of funds coming to the School of Education from the ARRA Federal Stimulus.  Full tuition is available for one course (excluding fees and other charges) and one-half tuition (excluding fees and other charges) for four additional courses.

 

Open Scholarships

Mildred, Mack & Blanche Stewart Teacher Education Endowed Scholarship

Scholarships are awarded each semester.  Please return the application one month prior to the first day of class.
