Birmingham
Learn about the 180 different funds managed by CFGB on behalf of
residents in our 5-county metro area. $7.6 million was awarded
last year to more than 400 grantees. CFGB awards grants in 8

Council for International
Exchange of Scholars
This privaate organization was founded in 1947 to assist the US
government in administering the Fulbright Scholar Program. Each
year, CIES sends 800 US academics and professionals abroad
and brings 800 foreign academics and professionals to the US. You
