Developing future teachers who know how to use modern learning technologies to improve student learning is a major challenge facing our nation's teacher preparation system. The UAB-PT3 grant supports innovative program improvements and collaborative efforts to prepare educators in the Greater Birmingham Holmes Partnership area in the effective use of technology for teaching, instructional management, research, communication, and lifelong learning.
