Physical Education Bachelor of Science Degrees
The Physical Education Program includes
Undergraduate (Bachelors Degree) concentrations in
Physical Education Teacher Certification, Exercise
Science (approved for pre-med, pre-physical therapy, and
pre-occupational therapy, and Fitness Leadership.
The teacher certification program prepares students for
entry into physical education teaching positions in
grades P-12.
The fitness leadership and exercise science programs
prepare students to be fitness leaders in fitness
centers, clinics, or industrial settings. In addition,
students completing the exercise science program take an
additional core of chemisty, physics and math courses in
preparation for graduate work in health related graduate
programs (e.g., physical therapy, occupational
therapy, and medicine).
