Dr. George Theodore has extensive school leadership experience as a high school teacher, assistant principal, and principal.  He has worked in a variety of school settings – urban, rural, and suburban.  In 2002, Dr. Theodore was selected as the State Administrator of the Year by the Alabama Scholastic Press Association.  He has previously served as assistant professor of professional practice at the University of New Orleans and as state facilitator for the Louisiana Principal Induction Program.  Dr. Theodore has conducted numerous workshops and presented at conferences in the area of tort liability.  In addition to teaching courses in school law, management of educational programs and services, decision making, ethics and leadership, Dr. Theodore is the coordinator of the UAB internship program for aspiring school leaders.
