Afi Y. Wiggins

Afi Y. Wiggins is a graduate student in the Educational Leadership Program in the School of Education at UAB. She was awarded an Education Specialist (EdS) degree in Educational Leadership in December 2003. Afi is currently enrolled in PhD classes in Educational Leadership. In December 1999, Afi completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education at the University of Montevallo, in Montevallo, Alabama. In December 2001, she completed a Master's of Education degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Montevallo, in  Montevallo, Alabama. In December 2003, she completed her Education Specialist (EdS) degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

She currently serves as a Graduate Assistant and Assistant Evaluator on several English as a Second Language (ESL) grants funded by the U.S. Department of Education in the UAB School of Education. The ESL grants include the following:
