The School of Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham is seeking applications for the following positions:

 

Assistant/Associate Professor of Reading Education (Tenure -Track)

Doctorate in reading education, language and literacy, or closely related field and have at least 30 graduate hours in reading education.

 

Assistant Professor or Instructor of Early Childhood/Elementary Education (Non-Tenure Track)

Advanced degree in early childhood or elementary education or closely related field with a minimum of 30 graduate hours in either early childhood or elementary education.  Doctorate required for assistant professor rank.

 

Assistant Professor of Early Childhood/Elementary Education (Non-Tenure Track)

Doctorate in early childhood or elementary education or closely related field with a minimum of 30 graduate hours in either early childhood or elementary education.

 

Assistant/Associate Professor of Counselor Education, Field Placement Coordinator (Tenure Track)

Must have Doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP accredited program. 

 

Associate or Full Professor in Educational Leadership (Tenure Track)
Earned doctorate in educational leadership or a related field, experience in K-12 or higher educational administration and a significant research and/or doctoral mentoring background.
