Praxis II Score Report Submission Changes

The School of Education was notified on February 26, 2007, that, effective immediately, the Alabama Department of Education will only accept Praxis II score reports sent directly via electronic submission from ETS, the organization that administers the test. This means that students will need to designate both UAB and the Alabama Department of Education as score recipients. UAB’s recipient code is R1856; the Alabama Department of Education’s recipient code is R7020. Students who have not indicated UAB as a score recipient may continue to bring a copy of their score report received from ETS to Room 100 as documentation of the completion of this requirement.

Students who have not indicated the Alabama Department of Education as a score recipient will be required to order a score report to be sent there. Information about how to order a score report click here or by going to www.ets.org , clicking on “PRAXIS”, then “Order Score Reports” under “The Praxis II Test” tab. It is imperative that ETS submit this score to the Alabama Department of Education electronically since paper copies of score reports will no longer be accepted by them.

Please note that UAB and the School of Education have no way to check what score recipients students have designated as we do not have access to the Alabama Department of Education’s Praxis II database nor to Praxis II registration forms. Students needing verification of their score recipients should check their registration forms or contact ETS at 1-800-772-9476.
