Licensure and Certification

 

The Alabama Board of Examiners in Counseling oversees the licensure of counselors in Alabama. Students graduating from the UAB Counselor Education Program qualify to apply for licensure in the State of Alabama. Graduates are eligible to apply to the National Board for Certified Counselors.
