Community Counseling Clinical Experiences

Clinical Requirements:

• Practicum: 100 hours on-site in a community agency; 40/100 hours must be direct contact hours.

• Internship: 600 hours on-site in a community agency; 240/600 hours must be direct contact hours.

• Internship must be done over 2 semesters.  There are no nights nor evening placements.

Students should make an appointment to see the Clinical Coordinator one semester prior to the Practicum and Internship to discuss possible clinical placements.
