Blended Masters Course Sequence

Each secondary certification area has its own program checklist. The table below shows the sequence candidates can follow to complete their program requirements in two years.  Candidates may be able to finish the program in less time than two years by taking non-blended courses that fit their program requirements.

Odd Years (2007, 2009, …)

Spring

600-level Methods*

EDF 600**

* EDC 706 will be taught in Spring 2010! (It will then return to being offered at its regular schedule.)

Summer

EPR 688

EPR 611

Fall

EDC 706*

Even Years (2008, 2010, …)

Spring

600-level Methods*

EDF 601

Summer

EPR 688

EPR 611

Fall

Candidates should remember that only the education coursework in their programs are blended.  They should use their program checklist, not this table, as their guide for which courses to take.

* Exceptions: Foreign Language (currently offered fall semesters), Music (currently offered fall semesters) and Art methods courses are not blended

** EDF faculty anticipate broadening the focus on this course to all school types.
